A Full Replacement, Done Once, Done Right
When repair no longer makes sense, we handle the whole job — tear-off, deck repair, new underlayment, and manufacturer-backed materials — with a written scope you approve before we start.
Signs You Need a Replacement, Not Another Repair
We won't sell you a full replacement if a repair genuinely solves the problem — but there's a point where patching an old roof stops being cost-effective. We'll tell you honestly which side of that line your roof is on.
- The roof is 20+ years old — most asphalt shingle roofs in North Texas are nearing or past their useful life by then.
- Repairs are becoming frequent — if you've called us (or anyone) more than once or twice in a year, replacement is usually cheaper long-term.
- Widespread granule loss or curling shingles — a sign the roof's protective layer is failing across the whole surface, not just one spot.
- Storm damage covers most of the roof — sometimes the insurance math and the practical math both point to full replacement over patchwork repair.

How long does a full roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes in Fort Worth take one to three days depending on roof size, pitch, and material. Complex roofs with multiple valleys or a full deck replacement can take longer.
Do I have to be home during the replacement?
No, but we'll walk the finished job with you afterward. We do ask that pets stay inside and vehicles are moved away from the driveway while material is being delivered and torn-off debris is removed.
What's the difference between a repair and a replacement?
A repair addresses one damaged area. A replacement is a full tear-off of the old roofing material down to the deck, with new underlayment and shingles installed across the entire roof — the right call once a roof is old enough, or damaged enough, that repairs would just be a stopgap.
Do you handle the permit?
Yes. The City of Fort Worth requires a permit for roof replacement, and we pull it as part of the job — it's included in your written estimate, not an extra line item.
